You know Tommy, I've tried to be upbeat & supportive about you finding this horrible set of junk, but I can no longer con you into thinking that these are that great...sorry, but my conscious finally got the best of me! Somehow, I feel partially responsible for you buying these "crimes against humanity", so I'm willing to take them off your hands...and even give you $25 extra for your trouble!....no-no-no, you don't have to thank me!...just PM me & I'll tell you where to deliver them.Again, sorry for my betrayal!fungus

Hey Fungus LoLoLoLo:D I know what your saying. Every time I set down and lay a stick on these old tubs, well its kind of like torture. But , somehow I get thru it. LoLoLoLo I would pack these things up and send them to you but..... my 16 year old son informed me, ten minutes after the purchase, that if I ever sell Dick`s drums ( the guy that I got them from) that he would be mad at me forever! So, I guess that I am going to have to keep them and someone can try to get them from my son when I`m gone. Sorry man! They have to stay home.:D

I've heard these tubs! Whoever it is, he's going to have to pry the RK's from your son's cold dead hands to get them! Great, resonant sounding set of drums. The snare drum is especially killer. The kicker is; Tom has a Slingy kit that moves the Radio Kings into the number two slot sound-wise. The sound of that vintage Slingy kit is to die for. Two awesome sounding drum sets.

Well , I finally had to quit playing these old tubs and tear them down for the big cleaning. I wish you all could have " got a wiff" of the bass drum when I took the 1st head off. The heads have not been off in who knows how long. As you can see in the pics, the wrap is cracked up pretty good, and it is loose. I am not going to re-wrap this drum at this time, but I may down the road. Actually, I think that the cracking adds some cool "mojo" to these old tubs. But I do want to glue it back down. So, can anyone suggest what kind of glue to use? I what to use something that won`t be really hard to get off if I do re-wrap at a later time. I was surprised to see a green sparkle on the back side of this wrap, 1st time that I have seen that. Thanks for any advice that you can give me. Tommy

3M spray contact cement. Damn, it would be nice to flip the wrap on all those drums to that green!

If you knew "for sure" you could get the wraps off clean,without breaking,that would be a cool kit to do in a natural finish..but,alas,it always doesn't work like that.electricit

John , I have some of that and man that is some good s--t. However, If I decide to re-wrap later will I be able to get the wrap off without tearing the shells up?
