while strolling through my local antique mall i noticed this little gem. WOW!!!! its a '48-'50 5.5X14 WMP Slingerland Radio King one ply maple snare drum. ive had a 1940's radio king set for a few years now and it hadn't had a snare drum to match. now i guess i do :) today is a great day. stay tuned for more pics of the restoration.

Very nice! You don't see a lot of those large oval badge drums. Bet it sounds great.

It's kind of cool that it doesnt have the extension brackets, just like the Buddy Rich models.

I see old MIJ toms in horrid shape at antique malls around town.

The prices blow my mind $100, $75....do people really pay those prices??

Maybe I need to buy a booth, haha.
