Radio King set for sale........... Last viewed: 7 hours ago

Loading...

Just had a call this morn from an old customer >(he's 81!) in New York from "back in the day".....

I bought a 20,12,14, Purple Satin Flame Camco kit from him around 20 years ago.

He said he has a "Blue Marble" RK set for sale..........NO RK SNARE.......but there is a Japanese snare that closely matches.............

I asked him to get exact sizes.........but he said the FT has legs,so has to be after 1948,right?

Also,he said only 1 mounted tom..............

Also, has a big box of parts..........

I'll let you know more when I get exact sizes.........

I didn't see that anyone replied till yesterday.........

The kit is in NJ...........I'll call him/see if still available and get exact sizes...............

I am not going to buy it......

I would need to get a custom cardboard box made up for the large BD,have it shipped to Jersey, get it shipped back etc...........

Thats over $100 easily right there........

I am just trying to broker the kit.

Whoever buys it would still have to pay for the above box/shipping to/from,unless they are close to Jersey......

I've anxiously been awaiting pics as well. I've got contacts in NJ, so pick-up is a realistic possibility.

OK......just talked.......

There was some confusion......they are Blue Sparkle, not Blue Marble.

Must be the "Joisy" accent I didn't understand.

Anyway,he said they are in his storage area,so no pics just yet.

He has to check sizes too.......

Since Blue Sparkle,I am guessing 1950's. 22,13,16? MAYBE 24,13,16?

He said there is a Yamahahaha snare also with it.
