For sale is a very rare Rogers, 1960-62 Cleveland era, 6.5 x 14 Red Glitter Holiday snare drum in good condition. Serial number 19958. I am no collector or drum expert so will do my best to describe it in detail. I believe it to be all original, except for bottom head (which is new), snare and 2 screws on inside that hold the B&B lugs. It has no extra holes or modifications. 7 of the 8 Bread and Butter lugs have stress cracks in them but I believe all are repairable. Selling as is and new owner can decide to fix the B&B lugs or buy replica ones. Tag is intact but there is a small hole in the tag where the "H" in Holiday is. I took it apart to clean and then put in back together loose as to not put stress on the B&B lugs. The finish is real nice, with no cracks, splits or gouges, there are a couple of very minor scratches here and there. In bright light one side seems to be a little redish orange from possible sun but in regular light you can not tell. The chrome is nice with minimal pitting on a couple spots and very little rust. Tension rod washers have some rust but could be cleaned. This is a 3-ply Jasper shell, with 3-ply reinforcing rings. Asking price is $750 OBO.
