Rare Rogers Dyna-Sonic Snare Last viewed: 12 minutes ago

From The Ploughman

Lugs. Not at number 29000. Bottom Hoop, not at 29000. Give us some history. And a lot more detail of the interior. Especially the badge and grommet Shell layup, reinforcement rings on the inner edge. 29000 never saw 1967. I hope you only paid a max of 400.

Ploughman:

What's wrong with the lugs? The C-clip/no spring lugs don't show up until just before the Big R period in late '75 correct? So these spring loaded, self aligning lugs should be correct for Serial #29423 ('71-'72), no?

This shell might be correct for #29423 as wood shells weren't discontinued until 1973 around Serial #40xxx (at the same time the "Big R" style snare hoops were being introduced). Note the camera flash reflecting off the batter re-ring. Looks shiney like it's laquered. Might be a legitimate, stripped wood Dyna shell, but it sure would be nice to see some clear, close-up shots of the interior.

I swear I thought I was seeing C clip lugs. Previous post edited.

Still, need to see more. What would a stripped 6.5 be worth?

Interior does look lacquered. Cant tell for sure on shell layup.
