Think he was asking $7000 back in 2012. I remember them too. Seemed expensive at the time but with rare Gretsch and Camco stuff in the stratos not so much anymore.

Ploughman is right on the finish. It probably was a drum set used by a school band and more than likely a private school or college given they spared no expense on the Dynasonic and throne.
I tend to agree with this also. I remember looking at it and thinking "school colors"!

Yes, it would definitely stand out among my WMP and Ebony sets, but I find those "school colors" just a bit garish. Plus, my wiser and better half doesn't think I need to be adding to the collection, especially at that price.
