My comfort drums are all skin head drums but not the kind of drums, that term might conjure up.! I use calf and goat. I particularly like goat as a reso head. I have also experimented with deer , bear and moose. There is a tanner, not too far away( about 250km.) and I have taken some skins there , to be custom done.
