Re-wrapping the Tama Rock Stars Poll Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Okay- these are graduating from a practise kit to a gigging kit. I like their portability, and they tune quite low for being so small (but they are DEEEEEEEEP drums).

I thought of a few options. But when I saw my Silver Sparkle Nitron Gretsch Frankenstein snare, I fell in love with that colour. But I like WMP Special (ala Ludwig). I also like purple sparkle. Satin flames are out only 'cos this will be a gigging kit.

I am auditioning for a blues band that does a LOT of R&B and even a bit of funk. This would definitely be the kit for this gig. I have a good feeling about this audition. I want something to go with this feel.

No bacon or boobies options this time around!!!!

Black sparkle kick, Gold sparkle snare, Gold sparkle rack tom and black sparkle floor tom. Spray paint all hardware black and shine cymbals to a brilliant gold finish! Then, buy a Troy Polamalu Fathead and cut the head off of that and put it on the reso head of your kick drum!

Although I totally second black. Although being a stage kit I would go black glitter as it will sparkle more on stage
