I found an old 80's sligerland in my band room. The only problem is that there is no hardware. I am considering just retro fitting the drums with new hardware, but i would like to know how can just mount the toms. There is no pole to mount them with. So, I turned to Ebay. They had these mounts. But they weren't right. My toms are strange. They have these plastic clips on them. It appears as if you slide the pole onto this clip. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If not, I can send pictures. I just want to know what this tom mount looks like if anyone can muster a picture of it.

Please post pictures of this so we can get an idea of what the problem, or issue, is.
