not sure why a kit that's never been out of a smoke free studio would require a re-wrap.

Well, I'm 'going' for a six-pack.

I wonder if it ever even crossed his mind that.. "maybe I shouldn't dump this 40+ year old instrument in the snow..." or, "I wonder what a rapid change in temperature from 70 to 28 will do to this 40 year old wood??"
