I bought a bunch of shells and drums and thought I'd share some pictures. These will be projects so am on the lookout for parts.

I could use help identifying the 1st 2 photo's drum.

Thanks and enjoy!

Here's a highlight list:

Slingerlands:

COB 6.5 x14 (dented, no badge)

COS 5 x14 (niles badge)

'53-56 badged black bass 22" with nickel lugs, calfskin batter (missing hoop, lugs/t's, consollette and shell mount cymbal holder)

'53-56 badged Duco silver/blue bass club date type model(?) 1 lug centered style

'56-59 Silver sparkle bass shell (yellowed but pretty good condition, no parts)

60's Gold satin Flame (rough wrap, extra hole for tom mount conversion from rectangle to diamond shape, w some lugs)

60's marching snares (complete more or less but dirty, rusty) 10x14 and 12x15

'62 Blue sparkle tom (complete)

'60 Black 12" - no, actually blue(grey) pearl hiding underneath!! (missing tone control) The black spray paint is coming off well btw so this will be nice looking once I'm done.

22" marching timp tom? striped black and red sparkle. It is bass sized but has 2 mounts and concert style 1 head only.

2 George B Stone bass drums, one large white, one shallow walnut colored. 1910's and earlier for walnut

Walberg & Auge Shell with Perfection badge (stripped)

Kent snare shell w birds eye maple interior stripped single tension holes

Ludwig 13" shell WMP

Pioneer 26" bass drums x12"

Mystery 14" x 12" ish Yellowed WMP Drum w pipe style lugs and half T rods, half normal rods.

I'll be at the Delaware drum show Sunday if anyone's interested in chatting. (Look for a short blonde haired guy with a beard)

I got them from Al Drew's music in Woonsocket RI. There's fair amount of american brand marching stuff, japanese brands and some concert toms, and old Rogers drums still there (and he has tons of NOS Rogers parts his dad bought when they went out of business) lots of rims. He also has a museum of not for sale early early (20's-40's?) kits, snares and pedals and a blue kit with the drum stars of the day autographed in the wrap, I forget the finish name. A WWII Rolling bomber or Victory type kit was for sale from his museum. I'll try to post pics of the museum

Good stuff thanks for the pics!! I was hoping to make a trip up there soon. Between the weather and lack of cabbage in my wallet I'll have to delay it a bit. I hope there's still some stuff for me when I get there next month. I travel to Cape Cod to visit my Aunt and plan to stop on the way.

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

Nice,

Sorry I can't help with the ID.

Badly need a circa 1951 Rogers 12" single flange hoop.

What is the best way to get in touch?

Thanks!

Creighton

Nothing special here but I like them.

For the Rogers rims, call Dave Drew at the store. 401 769 3552 or try his email [email protected]. I think he'll ship. He literally had a wall of rims like I've never seen anywhere - easily 12 ft x 10ft with just arms full of rims , I couldn't find any Slingerland (didn't have enough time!) but he seems to be a Rogers specialist.
