I hope this is the right place for this. I know Kent was made in the US but what and where is the Revere line? I have a line on a WMP kit with arrowhead shaped lugs. Was Revere Kent's cheap line? Was it made in Japan? I know nothing about Revere. The shell top above the wrap almost looks like Luan. What do you think?

Borrowing a quote from the Kent page on the Coopers Vintage Drums web site: "E.W. Kent Mfg. Company also produced drums for other companies during the 1950’s. These drums were very similar to E.W. Kent products, utilizing the same maple shells, metal hoops, tin foil badges and snare strainers. Paramount, Revere and Musketeer were some of these companies."
That quote aside... It would be nice to see a pic of the inside of that drum. What little wood we can see does look like vertical grain lauan.
Yup, definitely MIJ. Those are Pearl's 'battleship' lugs. The only thing American about that drum is the badge. This is interesting, because the imported drums that were badged Kent had Kent's hardware on them, the lugs at least.
Kent started importing from Pearl in the late 60s.
If the set is cheap and you like the look, I'd go for it.
