once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

it depends on the year. i have a bass drum head he used on a all starr tour that's signed by him, and i asked my local memorabilia buyer what it would go for should i be in need of funds (and being out of work for 3 1/2 years...its looking that way...)

he said because its considered "recent" and not vintage it can go up to $500. HOWEVER, he knows my history and that my stuff is the real deal. so i'm sure i got a quote better than normal.

originals from the 60's go for some decent doe, expecially when its with "the lads". it also depends on what its on.

other than that, i would do a search and see what you find. mainly thru auction sites that deal with memorabilia or you can email rockaway records

(my contact) in silverlake,ca. and ask about it. maybe send a pic and a story about it. you might get the owner wayne. if not then they will direct you to the right person.
