Bought the other day a 60's Rogers Silver Sparkle bass drum and tom. One question I have is the bass drum measures 12"X22". Both bass and 9"x13" tom have B&B lugs and the paper tag reads Cleveland Ohio. I have never seen a Rogers bass drum that measures 12" deep. (measured with rims off) Can anyone give me some information on this? Thanks

Rogers, along with other companies (at least Ludwig and Gretsch that I have either seen or owned), used a 12" depth on 20" and 22" bass drums. It may be others were available by order, but the 67-68 catalog indicates those two for the Holiday bass drum line.
Check the Jollity Drum Farm website www.drumfarm.com. The proprietor, Bobby Chiasson has at least one set on the site with a 12x20. Might be under his personal collection section. A Gretsch set in sky blue pearl recently sold at the GC in Danvers, MA. So what you have is more than likely a factory fabricated drum.
