I picked up this kit thanks to a lead from Josh back when I was playing for a 60's cover band. They ended up supplying the gear so I didn't end up even using this kit. Wanted something for once I would not care to be perfect and from a distance looks good. The band did a lot of outdoors gigs by the salt water. This kit stayed in the drum room since I got it.
Good - Newer batter side heads all around, drums sound great, no extra holes, and hardware is very clean. For a re-wrap candidate this would be your winner
Bad - The wrap! The floor time yikes. Also some splits in the bass and the rack tom has been spared the worse of the splits. The bass and rack are Dayton's (Holiday tags) and floor tom is an early Fullerton. Also on the batter side some non Rogers bass claws and T rods.
$500 plus shipping! I have had this on my page a little while. A lot of tire kickers but no solid leads. I would like to move it soon or I will give in and have Precision give it a new finish. No trades and price is firm. I have a lot of nice kits and for once have a player's kit.
