I just repaired a lifting wrap yesterday.You'll need:Use 3M 30NF Contact cement. This is usually considered the best contact cement.Precision drum, for example, recommends this one. A flat piece of wood.2 clamps.Clean up the exposed wrap as best you can. Apply the contact cement on both contact surfaces and wait about 30 minutes. Don't let the two surfaces touch until the 30 minutes are up.Clamp it down with a piece of wood and clamps.I let mine dry overnight. Trim away and glue residue with a razor blade and Acetone or Goof-Off.Good luck!Dave

Good advice. I always put a strip of painters tape on each side of the seam before I do the gluing and clamping. Makes clean up after you remove the clamps a lot easier.
