It almost hurts to write this but I am selling my XP8 Tobacco Sunburst Kit. I have had it a few years and just have not gotten around to the restoration. That coupled with the fact that I just remodeled my studio and it is much smaller. Now I have less room for kits and no room for kits this size. Drums are awesome and would be even more awesome cleaned up. They still have the original Rogers heads on the toms. It is missing the center post and may be missing a few memrilocs. Although who knows I have a bunch of those here and there so maybe I can scrape up the whole lot. I also have a really nice Big R 5.5 Dyna I could throw in. (missing the bridge of course) so the kits would almost be complete. Looking for $1200.00 plus actual shipping. I may also consider trades for smaller Rogers kits from the 60's or interesting snares plus cash or whatever to reach a fair deal. Some of the snares I am looking for are 1964ish Champagne Sparkle Downbeat, Rogers Blue Onyx Powertone, Slingerland Black Sparkle Artist (milk Chocolate era) or whatever the 8 lugger was called at that time....oh or WMP 3 ply Gretsch 4157, Name Band or Floor Show.
