Rogers Blue Sparkle 20, 12,14 Last viewed: 40 minutes ago

Anyone interested in a Rogers blue sparkle 20, 12, 14 Swingtime layout for $1400, please pop me a PM. If you need the rod and tilter add $100. Cleveland flat grey '65/66 or so. Hoops could stand a refinish from scuffing, but inlay all intact. Balance is very good or better and I will provide additional detail as needed.

Thanks,

A Rogers Swivo 4 piece will almost always sell for more than a 5 piece.

Its the old ... Less is More .. addage.

BTW, the 20-12-14 Swingtime is priced correctly.

I would think Gravy will check into this shortly. If not, you should post this link on his thread as this is what he is looking for. Great looking kit by the way.

I have a Red Sparkle 65 Cleveland 20,12,14,matching Powertone I picked up from Steve Maxwell. It is second to none as a jazzer. This Blue one is a peach! Good price for an unbelievably great kit. Whoever gets it (I'm pulling for Gravy) will understand the love and desire for these Cleveland jazzers. Unreal.

I started advertising locally, moved to see if any of you here on the forum were interested and now it is on the Bay. We'll see if the price I set draws the interest I anticipate. It is very clean. Just needs someone that really likes blue sparkle.

I paid a similar or maybe slightly higher price for a WMP set of the same sizes that was very good, had a nice green fade, but didn't have particulary good chrome and a number of the parts weren't correct. This one is completely original as best I am able to discern with the exception of the heads. I thought the WMP was a good buy and I think this one is a very good buy.

I'm thinning the collection a bit because things have come along that weren't expected and I went for them. In addition, I had only bought this set because it was so clean and original, blue sparkle not being a preferred color. I prefer the strata, ripples and onyx wraps. Many are hot on WMP and BDP and there are of course those who prefer sparkles. So hopefully the sparkle person is out there and wants these. If they take them, I believe they will be please with what they get.

Hey Dan, I sent a PM but your inbox was full.

Here's what I was asking:

Hey Dan, I would like to see close up pics of the set if you have them available. If so, please send to [email protected].

Does the set have any fade? Do they all match? How's the chrome? Appreciate it!

***Also, blue sparkle isn't my favorite color either but I'm intrigued by these. Thanks

Beautiful! If I didn't already have this kit (except for the 14"), I'd be all over it.

But then you would have double 20's a pair of 12" rack toms and 14 and 16 floor toms. That would be cool in a Rogers double kick sort of way. Of course, at that point you would just be showing off. :-)

HA! I better get more cases. And go to GC and learn some of that double-pedal stuff from the kids.
