Rogers color name from mid seventies Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Hi guys and gals

When I was in high school a million years ago, My friend Jimmy had an absolutely beautiful Rogers kit that he bought new that had the most dreamy color wrap on it. It was not quite red and not quite orange kinda a perfect blend of the best of both colors. This would have been in about 1972-3. I know it's a stab in the dark, but would anyone out there remember the name of this color from the Rogers catalog of that era?

Thanks

Glen

1973 Rogers catalog doesn't have anything like you describe.

Checking Rogers catalogs from 1971 - might be Pink Strata or Pink Champagne Pearl.

Use this link and see what you think.

Thanks for the link. what beautiful stuff. I particularly like the shape of the high hat pedals. But, no, I don't see what I remember anyplace in there. It definitely was a solid wrap. Really bright red, but looked kinda orange too. Heck, maybe it was simply called "RED". Now that would be sorta novel................just red

Thanks, great link

Mojave Red was a modest seller for Rogers back when it was in the line. Rogers collectors who are in to that era of Rogers find the color to be not so easy to find on the used drum market.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.
