A friend of mine has been offered some Rogers Daisy calfskin heads. Were these good? I don't use calfskin, so I know nothing about them. Anything about them that makes them any different than other calfskin heads?
Thanks.

Rogers produced four lines of calf heads.Three Star,Union,Daisy, and then Soo.Daisy heads were"slightly off color or bearing some other slight defect" but were none the less superior to any other manufactured competitors heads, cause they was still CALF.Many others used pig or goat skins which wore out faster.
Thanks for the reply. I'm sure my friend will find this info very helpful.
Anybody know anything else know anything about these heads? My friend will have to spend a fair sum to get them, and he wants to make sure he's getting his money's worth.
Thanks.
Member Gary N is your man for that period of Rogers. He knows more than anyone.
