This Rogers drum set that's listed on E-bay, I was gonna bid but have a question for you Rogers experts. The bass drum in the picture, in addition to the tom holder collet, it has an extra collet on top. The cow bell is mounted in it. Is this original are added by someone?

It is most likely that the collett being used for the tom was added by the owner or at a music store. The one being used for the cowbell was very likely used for a double tom holder. However, with Rogers Swivo equipped bass drums, many things are possible including the drum being ordered with this configuration from the factory. There were some bass drums with a center mount for a single tom and another one close to the batter side and to the drummer's left for mounting the snare drum on the bass drum. I ordered my first Rogers set in 1961 equipped that way from the factory.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Is there any way you could get an interior shot of that bass? My guess is this was a Londoner that was plugged and modded into a Cozy Cole ... or visa versa. Won't know without seeing the inners.
