Pretty sure these are my original drumsticks or what's left of them from 1968 or 69. Rogers stock # 6121 and model # 7A. There is a red stamped label that I can't make out and they both should have nylon tips. The brushes are Rogers stock # 6121 and model # 945. I never used them but once or twice.

What do you want to do with them? They do have some real value. Some condition issues, but value. And real good color.

I know cameras lie sometimes, and this is a difficult finish to photograph. Two of these shots were flashed, one is outdoors. Somewhere I have a pic with a lug removed, no color difference between the unexposed and 50 years.

Here is something to compare color with....... This is my 12" tom, from 1964.

Steppenwolf, that`s a great pic of you on that very set in 69` and you still have them!Just doesn`t get any better than that. They look to be in wonderful condition, both wrap and hardware are very clean.I had the same hi-hat slide problem back in the day too.Do you still have the original receipts?

Tough color to photo sometimes they look dark, then light then something in the middle, stand to one side and it looks different than another side. They look light in that picture from 69 and another from 70 but who knows with the quality of the camera, light or dark in the room etc. I can tell you for certain that with the exception of the first picture up top these have not seen daylight since the end of 1970 in their cases. Not a perfect set some scratches here and there a couple things touched up ( I did use them for two years) but nothing I couldn't buff out I think. There's a few things I'd like to straighten out before I move them, one foot pedal needs a small part, trying to find the hi-hat cymbals and one cymbal stand. The wrap around the front ring is all there nothing lost but it looks like it shrunk an inch (shrinkage like a frightened turtle,Seinfeld lol) I think the glue dried up and it pulled back a bit haven't checked the others. From your picture the colors seem right on to mine but I don't know what to look for. I have another picture (a real good quality one) of my set in mid 70 trying to hunt it down now. I have three more cymbals all cracked unfortunately. My drum teacher Phil Vitale did a ten minute drum solo on them in 1970 (we were blown away so my dad handed him a five dollar bill, big stuff back then, lol) and he's still out there playing in a band on Cape Cod around age 72. Nice color on yours !
