Hi all. Does anyone know if rogers ever had problems with their drum wraps shrinking or lifting in the 60's / early 70s? I have a londoner kit and its white diamond pearl finish. Its seperated on all drums at the seams, and lifted bad in some areas. Not too worried but would like to know more about it! Also how did rogers bond their wraps to the shells, glue all round, or tape and the ends??? Thanks!

Glue all around.
Mostly no problems with seperations in the mid to late 60s, very few in the early fullerton years. Seam seperations is mostly a Big R era issue.
What do you paper tags say? Cleveland, Dayton, Fullerton?
Are you sure they are original WMP?
It can be repaired.

Yeah sorry it IS WMP finish 12,13,16,22 and double swivomatic tom post. Someone has tried to stick the edges back down and in one instance with double sided tape. The shells dont have labels in although its apparent they have been there. Might this be a botched together kit? It sounds great ;)
Pics would help.
And some pics of the interior along with a pic of the double tom post and collet tensioners would help date your set. The paper tags that are missing should have left a footprint on the interior of the shell, I need to know the size of that footprint for each.
