I'm sorry, what exactly is Wildwood when it's at home? Looks suspiciously like maple from here (just not a laminate).

I think the seller is fishing for offers. I think a 20, 12,16 with matching powertone in wildwood is worth $1500-2500. The other two toms another few hundred.

The Rogers guys can give exact details, but, for a short time, when Rogers was owned by CBS, CBS also owned Fender. Fender was making "wildwood" guitars...the wildwood was wood from trees that were implanted with dyes. They tried to use the same wood for Rogers drums. I don't think it was too successful for Fender or Rogers.

This is more like "mildwood"! Find a pic of the Fender Coronados in Wildwood from the 60's and you will see that they are much more defined and quite cool looking (IMHO the coolest Wildwood guitar.) Anyhoo... maybe he typo'd $1750? Ha.

All the wild wood drums end up looking like this...they fade badly. Under the lugs, the "wildness" is much more apparent.

Yes, they are all very faded. Especially compared to the Fender guitars. I haven't seen one drum that looks even close to the original Wildwood brochure which features a highly figured, almost thick tiger striped look. I wish I had this picture to post but I don't. Anyone have that brochure??? Post it please!!

I didn't pick up on the lefty thing. I'll go check that out. That explains a little more but there is still at least a $13,000.00 to a account for! I don't mean to beat up on the guy for his asking price I am just confused. I actually respect him for having the balls to ask such a price!! More power to him.
