Now $1900.00 and counting... somebody is willing to dump some serious coin on this one. Apparent bidding war going on over this snare.

Wow no kidding~! Boy that's big money and looks like there's more to go.
Stupid is as stupid does.
We all know where that came from.
In my opinion, this takes stupid to a new level. Just sayin. This drum has issues that make it not worth the money.
A lot like the one on ebay in WMP that has wrong hoop top, aprox. 67, and smells fishy with phillips badge screws, but the seller calls it a 9/10.
This drum is nowhere near the value of its price.
Phony bidding happens a lot on GW listings - you've got to be careful - Chris
I suspect that there are people bidding that have no intention of buying SOME items. I've seen listings (especially music items/drums especiallty) re-listed for non-payment. I don't know if credit cards are required to have an acct, but I think not. GW is definitely not ebay where you have to have personal info & normally a P=pal acct to purchase.
I'd bet you $10 that this Dyna is re-listed.
Chris
I see. You don't need a CC to register on GW and bid on items. So that's very possible. I bid on a old Radio King snare there a few months back. The drum was recently listed on Ebay and sold for less than $10 more than it sold on GW. I expect to see it back on Ebay again soon as I doubt the seller let it go for the same money. Plus he replaced a few broken lugs too. Time will tell.
WOW!!! I just checked the auction now the bid is over 2400,00.....Mikey
That seems like VERY good money for this drum. Isn't this close to what a nice all original wood Dyna would run?
