I'm trying to date my Dynasonic. The serial number is 11960. Do I have it set up correctly? Why is a "7 line" more valuable than the "5 line?" Thanks for any help.

You have a mid to late 1967 early 1968 Dayton era Dynasonic.

Aprox. 11,000 is the beginning of the five line drums.

You have a good drum. Its not exactly less valuable.
