I think that this might be a concert bass drum that was played while it was on a cradle. A grand for the drum? Dream on.............................................

Concert bass drum is not likely to have spurs. Seller says original without "holes" and presumably means nothing drill after the fact. It's a Buddy Rich size. 13" on a stand and twin 16" floor toms and off you go!

I can't see anythiing but that dumb snap shot in the original post. I hate those things because they will not open to the eBay listing when I click on them. Therefore, I had no idea that there were spurs on that beast.

Dan,

I think you're right that this is not a concert or marching bass drum. From the pictures of the interior, the spur holes look factory drilled. Also, if this were a concert bass drum, the Rogers script logo would have been mounted centered like this:

A very nice drum, but a little too rich for my wallet.

Hold the "control (Ctrl)" button and click on the "view and bid" green box. This should open them. I asked the same Q when these first popped up here. Mike Layton clued me in!

Thank you for that helpful tip. Now, I won't cuss every time I see one of those things.
