Now that is one cool story! Imagine a night with Chad and Jeremy with almost no audience. Love those jackets too and the photos are real time warps. Were you playing a Leedy Black Diamond Pearl during that period? :)Glad you were driving and not trying to fly to the gig though.

I had a set once...... the purecussion version. Regret selling that. Paid nothing for it, a friend found them in his church's dumpster. I got almost 3 bills for them. But, I do regret selling that lot.

Howie,i have to say this story and the wonderful pics have taken me down that very clear memory lane and sorry we have strayed so much from the original"Rogers Hex Size" topic.Can`t speak for the others but i loved "Chad & Jeremy" and to see these pics and hear your story just blows me away.How young they were in those days and i`m sure as you see yourself in those pics you think the same-don`t we all,lol.Thanks for sharing this thread as it sure brought a memory smile to my face.

I still had my best chops, (some) hair, and an almost flat belly. And, I've recently come to find out that I was an inch taller back then. I did an Internet search yesterday for Chad and Jeremy. They are back doing shows with a slate of 2015 gigs. Unfortunately, none of these appearances is within a thousand miles of where I live. (see the link below)

Thanks for posting their tour info and they`ll be too far away for me also.I know i was in better shape back in those days as well and interesting for you have found that you were an inch taller back then.I think i`ve gotten a little shorter too,oh well,that`s time for ya`.
