Rogers Holiday Black Onyx Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Looking for some assistance from Rogers experts.... I've been looking for a complete and original Rogers kit in need of some love and attention. There's an interesting black onyx Holiday kit that just came up on Ebay and as it's local to me (San Diego) so I thought I'd try and figure a deal to save the guy shipping and Ebay fees.

[ame]http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rogers-4pc-Holiday-Black-Onyx-Set-with-Powertone-Chrome-Snare-WOW-WOW-LQQK-/301164394332?pt=Vintgae_Drums_Percussion&hash=item461ecbf75c[/ame]

There are a couple of things that look a little out of the ordinary (two mounts in the center of the bass drum?) but I have read that there were occasional variations in standard configurations, so maybe any non standard things like that can be accounted for.

So my question would be what would a reasonable price be for this kit, something that would be fair for both buyer and seller. It may well be that letting the auction run it's course will get him a better price, but fees on a $1,000 + transaction (if it's worth that much) would be significant... not sure exactly how much, but not cheap.

Thoughts?

Weird... the Ebay details show up in the initial posting I put up, but if you don't see it, just copy and paste this into Ebay:

Rogers 4pc Holiday Black Onyx Set

It's the only item that comes up. Location La Mesa, CA.

Thx.
