I am trying to learn more about this set of drums I got new around January, 1965 from a mail order company in Chicago. As I recall they were sold as a Rogers Holiday Set for around $550 to $650. My Dad (95) is pretty sure he still has the original, bill and the catalog, in his files and I will look for them in a week or so.
I have looked at a lot photos of Rogers drums on the Internet and some of the features are not consistent with my set. I got some of the equipment out of the closet and snapped shots on my iPhone. I assume these drums were made in Cleveland from the time frame, and the flat grey paint inside. There are no stickers or serial numbers that I can find, and the only marker other than a stick on label is Rogers on the snare ends.
(Just realized I can't upload the photos, so I will try to get them on a site where I can show them here via links).

The set included a high hat, crash, and ride - unknown brand. I added a 20" Paiste Formula 602.
Overall, the drums are in good condition. They have rarely been used since 1970. I would just like to know if they are authentic, and what the value might be.
