Seems like a decent offer. Anyone see anything out of the ordinary besides maybe the hoops?
Rogers Kit on Ebay Last viewed: 2 hours ago
Other than the tom arms installed the wrong way, I'm not seeing anything strange. Having said that, I 'm not familiar with what bass drum hoops came from the factory on a Koa set. The hoops on this set could very well be factory. Lets see what one of the more knowledgeable Rogers guys say about the hoops.
Nice set. Early Fullerton.
Looks to be one of the first Koa sets ('69-70) with the leg mounts on the floor tom - before they switched to the cast style. My original 71 set came with a Koa strip on the bd hoops.
Hoops look correct for early 70's.. nice looking kit..
Cheers

Shipping price is pretty high....
Shipping price is double what it should be. Even if it was going coast to coast it wouldn't cost anywhere near that price. The drums can be had cheap, the shipping will bring the price up to full retail for the kit. No real bargain there, but a decent price on a nice old kit. Tough call.

Seller said he'd ship for actual cost so it should be lower

Yes, nice set. I set up my Swivo arms that way because it gives me more sustain.

I do that with my Ludwig and Gretsch sets. I hang the L arm off the consolett upside down and mount the ride tom that way. I've never tried this with my Rogers sets. I always thought they sounded great mounted as designed and there was no need, but now I think I'll give it a go. Your drums always sound great.
