Hey all,

I saw this drum set advertised on Craigslist. Can anyone give me some insight into it and is the price decent? I am currently without a drumset and am interested in purchasing a vintage kit. I am looking at Ludwig and Slingerland, but I know very little about Rogers. Are there any real differences between the brands? Also, what would you say is the number one thing to look out for when it comes to buying vintage drums?

Take a look and give me an opinion as to whether I should look into this kit or not. I'm not looking to play gigs, just something to set up in the house that will sound good and have good versatility in terms of sound.

They are Fullerton drums and the bass drum has a bastard mount on it not original and the tom holders one is pearl and one is original it is a londoner set worth in that wrap in this economy 450 to 500 looks like the original holes are ok to put back original mount ...

Can you give me any feed back on these two kits?

Again, I'm very new at the vintage aspect of drums, but I'm reading up all over this forum.

Here are two Ludwig kits I was interested in as well...most may not like it, but I dig the butcher block finish.

are you collecting or playing if playing get the re wrap good price, if collecting the butcher block is a pretty undesirable color and not easy to sell so IMO it is overpriced...
