Rogers Kit Valuation? Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone on here could give me a rough estimate as to how much this kit could be worth?

Ive had it for about 2 years & I think its a 70's Rogers kit.

Sizes: BD: 24"x15" RT's: 14"x10", 15"x11" FT: 20"x17" S: 14"x6"

Serial numbers: BD: D15239 RT's: D713605, D15724 FT: 60685 S: D10255

All neccessary hardware(snare stand, bass pedal, tom mounts...etc) will be included, but cymbals & stands wouldn't be (other than hi-hat stand).

All help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

My late 60s Rogers with just the kick drum, toms, snare stand and throne cost me just about $650 with tax. So I'd say you could get like $400, maybe $5-

My Rogers are mid/late 60s Dayton/Fullerton.

They appear to be Fullerton Rogers and it looks like you have a dynosonic snare if there is no extra holes or shell damage with those sizes cleaned up and gone over maybe 750. to 900 depends on the buyer and in this economy finding the right buyer.. good luck nice drums big sizes

I'd wager that 20" FT would bring the most if the kit was split up - I know, sacrilegious. Yet, the massive sizes of the rack t's limits value greatly since big hair drums have yet to stage a comeback. 24" bass is fine. On CL I'd list for 1000 - a $ that seems reasonable enough since the snare looks nice ...

The dyna,if it has the snare rail could bring 250.00 275.00 IMO,People love the Roger 24 kicks, and the 20" ft is rare, but I don't Know how valuable.

It looks like your FT is Swivo, but the tom mount looks like memriloc,so if it is original either the kit could be not all from the same period,or a transitional kit.

The memriloc gen brings less than the swivo, and in this case you might make more money selling the kit by the piece.

The floor tom is most likely original to the kit and transitional with regards to the floor tom Swivo brackets. I've seen many Memri-lock kits with mismatched hardware directly from Rogers. As with all companies, old stock was used up before switching to newer. That was especially true for Swivo bass drum legs and floor tom brackets.
