Looks like a speckled grey interior...not Cleveland as the label suggests. Nonetheless, great example of blue strata.

That was a steal. It took me years to find the one I have in that color, and I paid more too.

By the way, there were never any Luxor tags printed with any other city but Cleveland on them: no Dayton or Fullerton. The Cleveland tags were used until they stopped making Luxor snares in the late 60's. I have a 6.5x14 Luxor in a green glass rewrap (the drum was originally that color but was stripped when I got it). The drum has a speckled interior and also a Cleveland tag. I believe it's a Fullerton drum and was probably made for a school. It's the only 6.5" Luxor I have ever seen.

I bid on it - I guess I didn't want it bad enough.

They have some nice stuff there and I've bought some drum items from them.

I got an email from them today saying they are having some internet server problems right now....don't know what that means but I closed my account for now until they get it sorted. Not taking chance when my Paypal account is connected. I don't know a ton about how that works so better safe than sorry I suppose.

Congratulations on a nice drum whoever did get it.

I actually wound up winning this snare.

I've never had the chance to see any kind of rogers strata in person before, and this is way more beatiful than I imagined. It's in amazing condition, too. There's one really tiny blemish on the wrap, and everything else seems to be in excellent condition.

I was initially thinking of just unloading it or trading for something else, but that was before it arrived (my girlfriend totally called it, too. She keeps asking when I'm actually going to sell the stuff I pick up). Now I want to build a kit around it :( Seems like this kind of finish is hard to find, though.
