Rogers re-wrap question Last viewed: 5 hours ago

This is a set of Frankenstein XP8 Rogers..... 18 floor tom converted to bass drum, 14x14 keller, 8x12.... green glass glitter. I think I had 150 or so in the wrap, two sheets. I did these in 2001. Forget the tape. I used high bond laminate spray adhesive. Seams are as tight today as when applied. That be 13 years. Lugs are Big R XP8, Hoops and rods are aftermarket. But the dressing on the cake is the Swivomatic mounts, telescoping cymbal arms and floor tom legs. There is more money in the Rogers parts, than the drums are really worth. Never thought I would own a genuine 18bd....... Later I did buy an XP8 Rogers with 18bd, 12, 13, 14x14 ft.

Vintage Rogers drums in Red Glass Glitter are attention grabbers. The less expnsive Red Sparkle would grab almost as much attention.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.
