Rogers script badge mixed bag Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Was it fairly common to have an original Rogers kit with mixed shells? For example Dayton & Fullerton. Bass and one tom Fullerton and other tom Dayton. Ran across 20 12 14 onyx but it's a mixed bag.

Is it best to steer clear of the mixed shells? Appears to be original but not sure if there is a good way to tell. Does the mix like this affect the overall value? Thanks in advance to the Rogers experts here!

Sure is..

The shells that are Dayton...do they have speckle paint interior.?

Same as the Fullerton..!

If the Dayton are flat Gray..usually a lil earlier ...

Most likely a 1970 model...

But pics will bring out the better talent...so pls post a lot..

Condition will hurt value far more than three speckled drums with two Dayton and a fullerton tag.

Just picked up a Dayton Fullerton 20 12 14 kit. Found via a big box retailer out of state. I saw a photo of the kit and spent a little while discussing with a drum rep that seemed fairly knowledgeable about them. I have a kit with a 16 but looking forward to an original kit with the rare 14 floor. Should arrive later this week...maybe

My holiday rogers is a mix- the 20" kick is a dayton as is the powertone snare/ and the toms are fullertons- 12&13 rack and 16 floor. Ive been told that the toms might be real early fullerton so they could be 68 and not 69 right? But the kick and snare could be as early as 66 and no later than 69,,, that sound right???
