Just wanted to show these off...

I 'was' trying to buy a Leedy/Ludwig kit that someone is advertising on CL, but the seller turns out to be someone I would -not- like to do business with. I bought these puppies instead! There is also a COB Dynasonic that is not shown in the photos. I have way too many kits in-house right now, and I am not really a huge 'Rogers' aficionado (like some guys here!) so I'll be putting them up for sale shortly. I'm in no hurry to sell, I'd like to play them a bit before moving them on. If anybody is interested in these drums, 12", 13", 16", 20", 22", with COB Dynasonic, and a stand-alone swivo tom holder, PM me with offers. Also willing to consider interesting trades! Let me know. In the meantime, enjoy the Blue Onyx goodness!

Beautiful kit! I'm trying to piece together a kit in the same color. Missing just the bass drum. Just throwing it out there in case anyone's interested in a 1 bass drum configuration, and John's willing to part out the other!

Johnl - PM me. I'm willing to pass the kit on. It's a gem too! Clean, clean, clean well-cared for drums. They sound killer. That 20 on the kit is a real thumper! Tell me where you are (zip code) so I can estimate shipping.

BTW... all the swivo mounts and collets is the higher quality -cast- stuff! :)

... and hey, if the deals go through, I will still have a COB Dynasonic available if anybody is looking for one!

John: nice find. Looks like you've generated quite a bit of interest already. BTW, the higher quality collets and noses were "machined", not "cast". I think that's what you meant. I'm thinking the Dyna is a 5-line, based on the age of the other drums?

Yes! 'machined,' good catch, thank you!

More info... it's a Fullerton era kit. Flat Rogers script logo and speckled interiors. The drums, cosmetically, are a strong 8.5/9 out of 10. Couple of wear marks but in overall excellent condition. All hardware, hoops, and the wrap is really clean and shiny. It's all original from head to toe, and it all works.

I purchased the drums from a professional drummer that is trying to trim down his herd. You can eat off the floors in this guy's house and he keeps his drums the same way. It's a one-owner kit and the owner was a professional who really takes good care of his gear. The kit is ready to go onstage right out of the box.

I'm in the middle of negotiating with several people at the moment, so if anyone has any interest, I will make a list of interested parties.
