Trout - I just used Autosol metal polish and a generic auto wax. I think it's more a case of good chrome to start with. The drum was dirty and has a few shallow dents behind lugs and the strainer but the chrome was excellent. Pictured here is the other Super Ten from 1980 and it came up just as good with the same cleaning.
73Rogers - do you have a photo of what you mean by using to two tom arms? I actually only have one original and a generic one that works but a cleaner look is a good look but I can't picture what you mean
And yes, I'm really digging the color now too. It screams 1976 - I was nine years old and yellow and orange were THE colors of the time...and beige and olive green for the grown ups.

Here you go. Basically you take the tubes that go into the toms and put them together to make a new L-shaped arm.
Spanish Gold wrap appeals to alot more people than one may think and i`m loving the look of that 76` kit with it`s 76` and 80`Rogers Super Ten snares.They turned out beautifully with your TLC.A set that you can be very proud to own!
