Rogers Swivo Placement Last viewed: 1 hour ago

Loading...

Hi all,

Just wondering. I've seen lots of Rogers drums from the 60's that have the rack tom Swivo mounted in different areas of the kick drum. Was there a standard place that was used from the factory, and when I see some at the rear, some at the front etc, is this usually an indication that someone has changed the position themselves? I'm talking about a single tom set up.

Thanks

Phil

There were a couple of different models available. Some had just the Tom, some had the Tom and a cymbal, some had the Tom and two cymbals, ... you get the point.

There were quite a few different placements of the swivo and knobby mounts on the kick drum, and from what I understand it is good way to determine what catalogued set you have,ie starlighter ,constellation etc.
