I think Jim Petty sells the bass mounted cymbal stuff as well.
Rogers Tower basket case.. where to start?? Last viewed: 49 minutes ago

Chrome polish will clean most of the items. Use a brass brush on the tension screws / threads. Use crumbled aluminum foil dipped in water for the rims. It will leave no scratches. Try Dawn dishsoap solution on the wrap to get the dirt off. Novus plastic polish after that if necessary.
Good luck.

They bought all the overstock when Rogers closed out for good.
They have all kinds of Rogers stuff and have even gone into reproducing the collets and mounts that you have. They are much improved since the old days.
They'll probably have access to everything Rogers you'd ever need.
Don't think for a minute that what you have here is junk, it's not. When you're finished cleaning and repairing you'll certainly be glad you did.

"And... one larger order of some chops please..."
pork or veal ??
That looks like Silver sparkle wrap to me, not champagne. Great little kit that should come up like new. Enjoy!
Yeah Josh... I think you are correct on that.
I have actually been looking into the way champagne fades and silver fades because they just didn't look "orange" enough to be champagne... but there is just a very pale goldishness to them which led me to think they were very faded champagne.... until I pulled the hardware off.Yes Sir
Then I went looking for silver Rogers drums of the same era..
http://www.coopersvintagedrums.com/sets/rogsil.htm This set is described as "mellowing to a nice ginger-ale" BINGO... mellowed silver.:o not champagne.
I don't know if mellowed silver or champagne will be easier to match with a snare.. Hmmmmmaybe a nice COB Dyna would look good behind them.
Hey JohnG.. the sad thing is I play like I'm swing'in some damn pork chops at'em.DOH

Anybody happen to know what the length of the straight legs would be on a 14x14 Rogers Tower floor tom??
Or... would anybody happen to have any legs around they would like to sell that would fill the bill??

"Hey JohnG.. the sad thing is I play like I'm swing'in some damn pork chops at'em."
ha...I feel the same way most times., especially after watching the true masters.........just keep working at it.....it will come.....
