Tower series Rogers drums are the exact same shells in both toms and snare drums as were the Holiday drums and Powertone Snare drums of the 1960s. A three ply Cleveland Powertone used the exact same shell as a Tower from the same era. Differences in snare drums was in the throw off and butt. Difference in the toms,... was in the type of lug used. Shells were the same.

Love them... just a great little kit. There is fantastic comparison video on different Rogers drums. Dang it... I can't find it right now.

I don't think that video is out there anymore. It was on myoldguitars.com. The one with the Rogers green glass glitter kit is still there, but not the comparison video. Too bad, because it had a cool tower kit.
