Rogers Yorktown Last viewed: 23 minutes ago

I recently acquired several old pieces of drum equipment for an extremely good price. Among them was a big old Rogers concert bass drum that had Yorktown written on the stamp inside. I've been prowling the internet, but have not been able to find much about this Yorktown series. Would anyone be able to help me out?

I've got a Yorktown B&B lug 12x15 marching snare and I was thinking the same thing. I haven't found any system of dating them yet and I'd be curious to learn when mine was made. Is your drum B&B lugged? Would like to see some pictures!

From the 1962 Catalog. Yorktown was the economy level of marching drums.

Also, this link takes your to the Rogers catalogs where you can find additional information:

This is extremely helpful, thank you! I'll upload some pictures of it later today. I got the Yorktown bass drum, 2 Ludwig concert toms, a 3 piece Slingerland bop kit, a 4 piece Pearl Dynamax Kit, a 18" Rogers Holiday floor tom, and what I believe is a Ludwig Acrolite snare drum for a grand total of $440. I'm pretty happy right now.
