Big R era might start in 1976?

I'm not sure about cymbals, but I feel 2,600 is high...

DaddyNowhere,Yes you are sooo right about the date being WRONG..That set is from the late 80's not made by Roger drums its a M.I.T. junk shell set..The real Rogers 360's and 380's drums from the 60's had a Round badge with a big "R" with eather 360 or 380 next to it..Mikey

Okay, so like he's just taken some Rogers decals, stuck them on the shells, and claiming they're Rogers? That's low. Didn't think they looked like proper Rogers badges. Hope anyone with that kind of money to spend, has good sense as well. There was another guy on Kijiji not too long ago selling some old MIJ shells with Rogers ink stamps on the inside, claiming Rogers as well. At least he wasn't asking a couple of grand.

Smells like Island Music putrid garbage to me.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Rogers, but not Island Music Rogers. These were made offshore and branded under the Rogers name as R-360 and R-380. They compare to standard entry level today. The Yamaha built Rogers import line from the late 60s were much higher quality.

Thanks Nutbox. Yeah, that looks like them. Hadn't realized that Rogers went the cheap route, I'm really a Ludwig guy. Guess everyone's got to be competitive. Haven't lost all my faith in humanity yet, though the guy's price does appear steep for what he's selling... and the date IS wrong. Perhaps still on the deceptive side of the fence. Thanks for the info guys, can always count on you.
