I have exhausted my patience trying to determine the date of my Black Diamond Pearl,Luxor,Rogers snare. It has an Eagle badge,is flat gray on the inside and has Luxor,Cleveland paper tag(nothing crossed off, changed or anything else weird),and the serial number is 903.The throw off is the second model "orchestra"with the twist in the handle. Can anyone tell me the date for this drum????:confused::confused:

The Eagle badge was pretty much gone by '59-60, and that's a very early Luxor number from when that model name began being used in '59-60. Almost never see a Luxor with an Eagle badge: a transition drum.
So, to be more accurate, it could be from 1959 or 1960...
