Here is my Gretsch Copper Sparkle bass drum from the 60s.

Size 14" by 20", 6-ply Jasper maple shell from 1966. From the time when Louie Bellson played the same kind of Gretsch kick, but he had two of course! Bowing

That's actually Champagne Sparkle..

I think Gretsch had a Copper Sparkle in the 50's......getting a little hazy on the Gretsch 50's knowledge....

Gretsch has a new copper sparkle right now. Looks close to champagne sparkle. Flakes are a different size.
