Maybe we should have an atrocities section?:p
For sale in New Zealand. We're not all this reckless though.
Great candidate for a rewrap. The kit can probably be had cheap which would make the rewrap do-able. If you can grab it cheap, go for it. Worthy retoration project. Especially if those are 3-ply Cleveland shells under there.
Imagine those drums in red onyx!

Whoa! Where do the batteries go? LoLoLoLo
Maybe the drummer was in one of those boy bands. Or maybe Lady GagGag.
I think the late Buddy Miles used to own this one!
His mind was going thru so many changes,ya know......
Looks like clear interior on the bass drum, could
be an English rogers...

Fayray, I think the set is a English Roger's set..To me the lug's look fatter than they should be to be a 60's U.S. Rogers set. But them again the T-rods on the back side of the bass drum looks 60's Rogers U.S but not all of them, the ones near the bottom look Tama to me...Mikey
Like Mikey777 says they are English. The claws are heavier and a slightly different shape to the USA ones. Also look at that photos inside the bass drum and floor tom, the shells are not painted.
Doesn't mean that they are not good drums, just not worth as much as the US ones. Three ply birch mostly (some are 3 ply beech). Nice resonant sound. Used mine in a studio yesterday and they record very nicely.
Of course there is the cracking lug problem, and I don't know where you would find spares in NZ. They have a slightly different hole spacing to the US ones.
This kit is a perfect example of why one should never re-wrap drums while under the influence... Mind Blowi
