Not to brag or anything...
Walking
16x20, 9x13, 16x16 and a 60s 5x14 slingerland COB snare. Came with a 16" krut crash and 12" krut hats. I gave the hats to a drummer friend of mine who gave me a pair of sabians while he looks for another pair he couldn't find, but says I will like alot along with new drum heads for the bass drum and a constantinople medium 20" ride that will be on long term loan to me. Helped me tune them up some and even with the old heads on, they sound great. Hard to beat vintage luds!
Also came with a camco cymbal stand and camco seat and original ludwig hi hats and speed master kick pedal.
I walked into salvation army and saw them from across the floor. I ran over and paid for them asap. I then imagined hordes of drummers running over to steal them, so I guarded them while the SA guys got me a cart to put them in. These things are so awesome!
I am mostly a guitar player, but I have always jumped on the drummer's kits at gigs and rehearsals whenever I get the chance, so I am really looking forward to studying drums now. Guess I will have to quit making drummer jokes :)
Vintage ludwigs have always been my favorite drums, and I had decided long ago that one day I would own some. Can't believe I got them for $35!
Oh, also I need to know as much as possible about these. I have never seen natural mahogany finished luds from this era, only sparkle and pearl. These are original finishes, and in overall really good condition.
