Selling for a friend. Need advice! Rogers Buddy Headliner B+B Lugs Last viewed: 17 hours ago

Hi there!

I don't normally do the "how much is it worth" thing, but I am selling a set for a friend and I was wondering what people think on this one. I wanna get him the most money possible yet ask a fair price.

Original B+B Rogers Buddy Rich Headliner kit...probably 1962 or 1963

25xxx on the 13

26xxx on the 16

26xxx on the 22

15xx on the COB 5x14 Dyna

BDP on the 3 drums. Single tom mount, single ride cymbal knobby. No L arm. Includes Swan leg hi hat stand (has some rust), and swicvo bass pedal both Pat Pending. Arguable if the snare stand is the Buck Rogers JR stand. Bass drum looks like it had a muffler mounted on the top panel near the batter head. Its been removed. Ill get some pics when I get it wiped down...not going to do any heavy cleaning on it. Some lugs have light cracks, but none are bad, and all function as they should. All rods etc are original. Very nice shape. Inlays are present. Original reso heads. Flat grey interiors (obviously), tags are mint. Interiors look mint. 13 does have some snare rash, which is really the only issue other than the muffler that is missing on the bass drum.

Dyna is all original including first version snare rail and black background clockface. This kit was taken CARE of. Nothing broken. Tall hoops all around.

Thanks for the input. As I said...Ill get some pics soon.

Here are some pics. Let me know if anyone cares to throw their hat in the ring. Please no "its worth $50 send it to my house" stuff. I just want to help my buddy out and get a good price for the kit.

I just sold a 1969 Rogers Dave Clark Five kit 20/12/13/16 in BDP for $1400 without a snare (but with a 1971 22 inch bass drum added for options), so this is clearly way more special than that considering the snare drum is one of 500-ish ever made AND has the earliest of production snare rails. My gut tells me the 2K range is about right for everything (some cases and hardware included as I said). Thats all I know. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

Adam

Adam it's a really nice looking kit~! I'm no real help on value sorry but $2k seems reasonable if not a little more. That Dyna is a real beauty!! Hope you get things sorted for your buddy and best of luck with the sale! Very nice of you to them out.

I agree with FFR428-that`s a great looking kit and well looked after. That 7-line Dyna with tall hoops has to be in the $550. range,so 2k or so seems reasonable to me.Good luck with the sale and hope you get your price for your friend.Good of you to help him out.
