Has anybody had any problems shipping to Australia..Down under..

I shipped by land / to keep costs way dwn..

However I was told 3/4 weeks ...its been 7/8 weeks..

Where practical, always use airmail when shipping overseas...Using surface can take up to 4 months, depending on where it's going or coming from...Eventually it will arrive, but you'll have to reinforce this with the buyer...

Granto is right i sold gear to the land of of a few time and it can take a long time for the pkg to get there by surface any other way to get it there faster will be very expensive.

Was tracking/insurance included? If not, just explain to the buyer the method used and try to convey that it was to benefit him (cost)...Just reassure him the distance the package has to travel...I'm sure he will be reasonable...

I have had lots of biz from Down Under in the last year or so..lots to Canada too for some reason....

Isn't the Aussie dollar real strong now?

When I went there 16 years ago..it took almost 2 OZ Dollars to buy 1 US..Now,they are almost neck and neck!

Does that mean it would cost me almost twice as much to travel/buy stuff while there now?crying2-07Eye Ball
