even with the mega boom base drum set up i cant get the sound i thought I had in the 80's

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Time to "upgrade" the kit. I think you apply one drum hoop between the two bass drums. Take a drill and fasten to each shell. You are "upgraded" to a cannon bass drum.

Did you play that BD in the 80s?

What heads? (makes a huge difference)

Even the edges make a difference. The batter side edge most significantly.

I had a great day! Instead of sleeping in and wasting the day, I got up at 8 and I had all my slacking done by noon!

I think you're either playing a left handed bass drum with a right handed pedal,or the drum is facing the wrong way

Try it like this.First ,you'll need two of these:
